Bundles — create and register

A Bundle groups picked-but-not-yet-shipped warehouse lines. Bundles simplify partial shipments and label management. Create Bundles filters shipment lines still available for bundling (Qty. to Ship > Already-bundled qty) and ties them to a Shipping Label header.

Workflow

Pick lines are registered.
Open Create Bundles. Filter by location and shipment date.
The page shows shipment lines with the Only To Bundle filter on: only lines with remaining capacity appear.
Select lines for the new bundle.
Confirm Create Bundle — DXSteel creates a Shipping Label header and links the lines.
Per line: Qty Pieces In Bundles updates; remaining capacity is what's left.
Add more lines to the existing bundle via Add Lines.

Field reference

Field	Purpose
Qty. to Ship Pieces	Remaining quantity available for bundling.
Qty. Pieces In Bundles	Sum of pieces already bundled on this line.
Selected	Tick to include in the bundle.

Validations

Message	Cause
"Only Item labels can be added to a Package label."	Bundle only accepts item labels (no package labels).
"Location code must be the same on all labels."	All lines in one bundle must come from the same location.

Best practices

Build bundles after picking but before physical shipping — that leaves room to combine late-arriving order lines.

For customers always receiving bundle parcels: pre-configure the bundle setup via the Shipping Label master.
